Whether it’s a favorite comedy to get you laughing, or a thrilling action film that draws you in, movies can be one of the best ways to kick back, relax and enjoy yourself.

Have you attended your 10-year high school reunion, or at least imagined what it would be like? In this 1997 film, best friends Romy and Michele relive the high school years when they find themselves locked into an elaborate lie at their own reunion. This comedic chick-flick will have you laughing in no time.

  1. Ferris Bueller’s Day Off

Sometimes you just can’t beat a cult classic. When a day off from school begins to fall apart, wise guy Ferris has to find a way to keep it all together. This iconic 1986 comedy is one of our favorite additions to any movie marathon.

Who says Glee is the only modern musical worth watching? When college freshman Beca joins the school’s female singing group, drama, romance, and of course, music follow in this 2012 favorite. If you feel like a double feature, complete the experience with Pitch Perfect 2.

This family-favorite is a real charmer. Old timer Carl Fredricksen finds himself on his way to Paradise Falls with two unlikely companions… in his home equipped with balloons. This 2009 movie is packed with enough adventure, laughs and love to turn any bad day around.

While this one might not be for the kids, this 2006 comedy is all about one little girl’s dream to be a pageant queen. And her dysfunctional family is determined to help her get there, even if it means a cross-country trip. A little humor and a lot of adventure make Little Miss Sunshine a must-watch this winter.
